This mature Rioja Rosado is a reminder that great rosé can be every bit as compelling as fine red or white wine.  Widely considered the spiritual successor to López de Heredia’s iconic rosés which prioritize extended aging, it is far removed from the simple, easy drinking rosés of summer.

In the glass, it displays a wild salmon hue. The nose is remarkably complex, offering subtle sherry like notes alongside aromas of cassis, melon, and dried red berries. On the palate, soft smooth tannins provide texture and depth, balanced by crisp acidity and moderate alcohol. The wine finishes dry, long, and exceptionally persistent.

A rosé to savor rather than simply quaff, this is a wine of remarkable character, nuance, and elegance that rewards slow appreciation with every sip.
