Cadus Vinum
Discover Wines with a Sense of Place
At Cadus Vinum, we believe that wine is more than a beverage — it’s a living expression of land, culture, and care. We specialize in natural wine from small, independent producers who work organically or biodynamically and who craft wines that reflect the soul of their terroir. Our focus is on wines that are minimally manipulated, authentically made, and profoundly connected to where they come from.
“A wine that speaks of its place has a soul. A wine that speaks of process has only a recipe.”
Cadus Vinum is a curated destination for wine lovers seeking truth in the glass. Each bottle we select embodies integrity, transparency, and a sense of place — from the volcanic soils of Sicily to the rugged hills of Galicia, to the windswept vineyards of the Loire. These are wines that invite conversation, contemplation, and connection.
We also host curated wine events that bring these stories to life — guided tastings, vineyard spotlights, and seasonal selections that deepen your appreciation for the world of natural wine. Whether you’re new to this movement or a seasoned collector, our goal is to help you discover wines that resonate personally and ethically.
Explore Cadus Vinum to find honest wines with character, made by people who farm with purpose and bottle with heart. Welcome to a community that values origin over intervention, and expression over perfection.

Ca’ di Mat, Valautin Albillio Real 2021
The 2021 Valautín Albillo Real from Ca’ di Mat opens with bright tones of lemon and lime zest, layered with notes of apricot and delicate white blossom. There are subtle herbal and spicy hints in the bouquet.

Castro Candaz, Raul Perez y Rodrigo Mendez 2021
In the glass, the wine shows a pale purple hue with a garnet rim. The nose opens with dried red cherry, wild berries, and violet, followed by gentle hints of blue fruit, spice, and dried herbs. On the palate, it is lively and fruit-driven, framed by fine, silky tannins and a subtle mineral earthiness.

Descendientes J Palacios Petalos Vinas Viejas 2022
Pétalos del Bierzo represents the heart of the Descendientes de J. Palacios project, an assemblage of old-vine fruit from the western slopes of Bierzo. While vinified for immediate consumption, it still bears the estate’s dedication to refinement.

Bodegas Breca Garnacha Breca 2020
Bodegas Breca focuses on expressing the true character of old-vine Garnacha from Spain’s Calatayud region. The vineyards, situated at elevations between 850 and 1,000 meters, are planted with ungrafted vines ranging from 60 to over 100 years old. These low-yielding vines, rooted in decomposed slate and quartz soils, produce grapes of remarkable intensity and natural balance.

Clos Figueras Priorat Serras del Priorat 2022
Clos Figueras was founded 28 years ago by Christopher Cannan, a visionary in the European fine wine trade who recognized the extraordinary potential of Priorat’s rugged landscape and centuries-old vines. Located just outside the village of Gratallops, the estate quickly became an emblem of modern Priorat, where respect for tradition meets thoughtful innovation.

Espadeiro Terra de Asorei 2021
Espadeiro is one of Galicia’s most intriguing native red varieties of the Atlantic coast. Traditionally overshadowed by its white Albaniño counterpart, this ancient grape thrives in the granite soils and maritime breezes of the Salnés Valley. Adegas Terra de Asorei has brought it back to life, producing just over 200 cases from the 2021 harvest.

Spanish Wines Perfect for Fall
Gredos, Ribeira Sacra, and Bierzo represent three distinct Spanish wine regions united by altitude, native grape varieties, and a focus on freshness and balance. From Albillio to Mencía, these wines reflect their mountain and river valley origins with clarity and subtle mineral character.

2021 Joan D`Anguera Montsant Altaroses
Spain, Catalunya, Tarragona, Monsant
100% Garnacha Negra
The 2021 Joan D’Anguera Altaroses is a delight from the first pour, unexpectedly light in color, yet full of character and depth. The nose opens with fresh anise and vibrant red fruit, including cranberry, redcurrant, and cherry, layered with spicy black pepper and a hint of forest floor. Despite its 14.5% ABV, the alcohol is seamlessly integrated, allowing the wine’s medium acidity, grippy tannins, and pleasing body to shine. The finish is clean and lasting, and the wine as a whole is light, ethereal, and incredibly drinkable—a fantastic expression of Grenache that shows restraint without sacrificing oomph.
The story behind Altaroses is just as compelling as the wine itself. The D’Anguera family has farmed the same vineyard in Montsant since 1820, making them true stewards of the land. With seven generations of winemaking tradition, Joan and Josep D’Anguera carry forward a legacy of innovation. Their father was a pioneering force—the first to plant Syrah in the region—but the brothers took a bold new direction. Inspired by the elegance of the Côtes du Rhône, they began pulling out Syrah vines and grafting Grenache, embracing a style that emphasizes delicacy, femininity, and floral lift, while still maintaining structure and depth. With biodynamic farming at the core of their practice, the D’Anguera brothers are redefining what Montsant can be—honest, expressive, and alive.

The Ca’ del Bosco Cuvée Prestige Edizione 46 is not Prosecco. It is a Franciacorta, a completely different style of Italian sparkling wine. The key differences between Franciacorta and Prosecco lie in the production method, grape varieties, and region.
In Magnum format, it offered a beautifully refined and expressive take on Franciacorta. Bursting with exotic florals, tropical citrus, and ripe peach, it delivers a fresh yet creamy texture with fine, smooth bubbles that enhance its elegance. The wine’s excellent acidity provides balance and structure, leading to a long, zesty lemon finish that lingers on the palate. It was particularly enjoyable. #CaDelBosco #Franciacorta #ItalianWine #FineWine #SparklingWine #WineLover #WineTasting #WinePairing #LuxuryWine #WineTime #Chardonnay #PinotNoir #LombardyWine #SouthEgremontSpiritShoppe #Cheers #Bubbly #WineLife #FoodAndWine #WineConnoisseur #cadusvinum

Burlotto Viridis Langhe Sauvignon Blanc 2023
Verduno, Piedmonte, Italy
Since 1850, five generations of winemaking have continued at G.B. Burlotto. The estate remains committed to manual vineyard operations, sustainable viticulture, the use of large barrels, meticulous cellar work, and the importance of patience and waiting—traditions that define the essence of its wines. The family-owned vineyards span just over 16 hectares, encompassing 14 crus across four distinguished municipalities: Verduno, Barolo, Monforte d’Alba, and Roddi.
At Burlotto, the noble vine of the Loire captures the salt and soul of the sea from the land of Langa, the fragrant essence of herbs and wildflowers, and the fresh vibrancy of sour fruits. This white wine, fascinates and surprises, delights, and quenches one’s thirst.
Its color is a vibrant, light yellow. Not ones typical Sauvignon Blanc—this wine offers juicy stone fruit intensity and varietal character, with layers of lemon, chamomile, and mint. It will age beautifully over the next 3-4 years, so be sure to grab a few bottles.

Arianna Occhipinti SP68 Rosso
Scicily, Italy
70% Frappato, 30% Nero d`Avola
Arianna Occhipinti is the niece of Giusto Occhipinti, the renowned winemaker behind COS wines, which are widely regarded as among the finest in Sicily. Her journey into winemaking began unexpectedly in 1998 when, at the age of 16, she accompanied her uncle to Vinitaly for four days. With no prior knowledge of wine, the experience left a lasting impression, inspiring her to pursue studies in viticulture and oenology at university. However, she quickly found that the conventional teachings of her coursework—focused on industrial methods—contradicted the organic and natural principles she had learned from her uncle, including organic viticulture, hand-harvesting, and native yeast fermentations.
SP68, named after the historic road that winds through Sicily’s vineyards, is a reflection of both place and philosophy. It is a youthful and vibrant wine, capturing the essence of the Sicilian sun and the freshness of the land.
In the glass, it presents a delicate, light red hue, exuding elegance from the first pour. The nose is enchanting, offering perfumed aromas of violets, roses, and white pepper, intertwined with ripe strawberries. On the palate, it is pure and expressive, with layers of sweet herbal notes, citrus zest, and wild berry fruits, all lifted by a striking acidity. The finish is long and refined, carrying a subtle tension, a touch of tartness, and a whisper of lavender.
Arianna Occhipinti’s SP68 is a wine that speaks of tradition, terroir, and a passion for natural winemaking—an eloquent expression of Sicily in a bottle.

Suertes del Marqués 7 Fuentes 2020
Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain
90% Listán Negro, 10% Castellana Negra
Suertes del Marqués crafts wines that reflect Tenerife’s volcanic terroir and rich winemaking history. 7 Fuentes, a village wine, is a bold expression of volcanic soils, high-altitude vineyards, and meticulous organic farming.
Expect an initial volcanic, slightly sulfuric nose—a signature of Canary Islands wines—followed by layers of dark berries and an inviting freshness. In the glass, it’s a majestic deep royal red, rich and captivating.
At first sip, Adam @_adameng_ of @ozwinecompany suggested pairing it with shellfish, oysters, or monkfish—spot on. We enjoyed it with scallion garlic shrimp in a lemon and white wine sauce, wild mushroom and tomato polenta, and braised kale, which beautifully complemented its structure and minerality.
7 Fuentes is fresh and lively, with waves of red fruit—strawberries, cherries—plus herbal nuances. It has delicate yet structured tannins, a fruit-forward finish, and bright natural acidity, making it a perfect food wine.
Suertes del Marqués is committed to organic farming, working with centuries-old Listán Negro vines, some over 100 years old, cultivated without herbicides or synthetic chemicals. The winery embraces minimal intervention, fermenting with native yeasts and aging in neutral vessels to preserve purity.
If you love distinctive, terroir-driven wines, 7 Fuentes 2020 is a must-try. Even better? It’s only $18—an incredible value for such quality.
