Domaine Anne Gros & Jean-Paul Tollot Minervois L’O de la Vie 2021 Rhone

I bought this solely on the wine makers name and reputation. Never having tasted their Rhone wines before. The wine had intense aromas, marked by very ripe red fruits strawberries, raspberries, and a compote of cherries. The wine demonstrates a balanced, precise, and refreshing profile. Gloriously delicious with a long finish.

Made from a combination of 34% Grenache, 32% Barbera, 16% Counoise, 14% Mouvedre, and 4% other reds from the Windmill Vineyard, and Barbera from the Muller Vineyard, both in the Dunnigan Hills, CA Since 2003, Matthiasson Wines has produced wines organically and using sustainable agricultural methods.
