Torre Dei Beatti “Rosa-Ae” Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo IT 2024

Italy, Loreto Aprutino, Abruzzo
Montepulciano
Certified Organic

The wine showed a royal ruby color, deep yet translucent. On the palate it is juicy and fresh with generous body and bright acidity. This is far from the average rosé, offering greater complexity and a more thought provoking character. Crisp and refreshing, it carries flavors of ripe strawberries layered with a distinct minerality. The finish is long and clean, refreshing with firm yet elegant tannins. Overall, it is vibrant, intense, and memorable.

The vineyard extends across 21 hectares in Loreto Aprutino, at an altitude between 250 and 300 meters above sea level. It lies about 25 kilometers from the Adriatic Sea, on the first foothills that rise from the Tavo creek toward the Gran Sasso d’Italia, which at 3,000 meters is the tallest mountain in the Apennine range.

Its remarkable location shapes the character of the wines. During the day warm winds flow inland from the Adriatic, while at night cool air descends from the snow capped Gran Sasso. This contrast, especially in the final month of ripening when the peaks are already dusted with snow, enhances freshness, preserves acidity, and deepens the aromatic profile of the grapes.
