Made under the direction of John Olney, who has been heading winemaking at Ridge Vineyards since the mid 2010s following Paul Draper’s long tenure. The 2021 Jimsomare is classic old school Zinfandel, offering dark berry fruit layered with baking spice, a supple medium bodied frame and lively acidity with a subtle lemon edge that makes it both vibrant now and ageworthy over the next decade.
