A recent visit to San Diego, CA and a lovely dinner at Finca Bottle shop & Tapas bar had a well aged Remelluri on hand.
After just a few minutes of opening, the rich, full-bodied Tempranillo fruit shines through. Truly a wine that reflects its terroir. I was pleasantly surprised to discover this wine offered at a reasonable price on the restaurant menu. Its deep red hue reveals its maturity, accompanied by subtle mineral notes and ripe red fruit aromas. The flavors of sweet raspberry and cherry dominate the palate. With excellent clarity and gentle tannins, it exudes a graceful character and drinks beautifully.
