Tempranillo, Garnacha, Mazuelo & Graciano
Rioja Alta, Spain
This garnet-red wine showcases a classic old-world style with aromas of cola, cedar, and cherry. While still a bit closed, it reveals a medium-bodied, silky texture with chalky, well-integrated tannins, giving it a velvety feel on the palate. The wine has plenty of life ahead, and while enjoyable now, it will develop beautifully over the next 5–10 years.
Viña Bosconia wines originate from the El Bosque vineyard. Inspired by French winemaking traditions, the founder named the wines after French styles, such as the Burgundy-style wine he once crafted with a high percentage of Pinot Noir, called “Rioja Cepa Borgoña.” The Reserva is a coupage wine, aged for five years in American oak barrels and hand-racked approximately 10 times before its release to ensure exceptional quality.
