Natural Mediterranean wine

From the makers of Raventós i Blanc comes Can Sumoi, an estate deeply rooted in tradition and minimal-intervention winemaking. The project was born when viticulturist Pepe Raventós, who joined the family winery in 2001, led Raventós i Blanc to leave the Cava DO in 2012. His vision was clear: to create wines that are authentic expressions of place—single-estate, climate-driven, crafted from native varieties, and grown with precision and respect. This vision also spurred the creation of the Conca del Riu Anoia DO.

The Can Sumoi estate, set 600 meters above sea level in the Montmell Massif, has been an agricultural farm since 1645. Today, it stands as a model for low-intervention wines that honor their origin and centuries-old tradition.

Can Sumoi La Rosa 2024 is a beautiful example of this ethos. Fermented with native yeasts, it shows a delicate salmon hue and a fresh, lifted nose of red berries with a subtle, savory note reminiscent of fino sherry. On the palate, it is crisp, elegant, and whisper-light, with virtually no tannin and a refined texture that makes it an ideal aperitif. Smooth and effortless, it’s best served well-chilled on a hot day—no food required, just time to enjoy.
