Verduno, Piedmonte, Italy
Since 1850, five generations of winemaking have continued at G.B. Burlotto. The estate remains committed to manual vineyard operations, sustainable viticulture, the use of large barrels, meticulous cellar work, and the importance of patience and waiting—traditions that define the essence of its wines. The family-owned vineyards span just over 16 hectares, encompassing 14 crus across four distinguished municipalities: Verduno, Barolo, Monforte d’Alba, and Roddi.
At Burlotto, the noble vine of the Loire captures the salt and soul of the sea from the land of Langa, the fragrant essence of herbs and wildflowers, and the fresh vibrancy of sour fruits. This white wine, fascinates and surprises, delights, and quenches one’s thirst.
Its color is a vibrant, light yellow. Not ones typical Sauvignon Blanc—this wine offers juicy stone fruit intensity and varietal character, with layers of lemon, chamomile, and mint. It will age beautifully over the next 3-4 years, so be sure to grab a few bottles.
