Designation D.O. Vinos de Madrid
100% Albillo
Fresh flowers, with a lovely crisp aroma of lemon, followed by a silky-smooth mouthfeel and notes of fresh stone fruit. This white wine exhibits a beautiful soft glycerin texture and finishes with a clean, refreshing touch. However, there’s a slight hint of bitter rind at the end, adding complexity to this easy-drinking white.
Ca’ di Mat, translated as “House of Fools” in a Piedmontese dialect, is their latest venture—a collaboration between two friends and long-time partners. Fondly referred to as “brats” in Galician dialect, they have teamed up with their family farm owners in the area. Together, they cultivate twenty hectares of land, featuring a diverse array of trees and fruits such as strawberries, rockrose, juniper, Holm oak, Pyrenean oak, and, of course, vines of Garnacha, Albillo Real, and Moscatell, aged between thirty and eighty years old.
