Champagne, Corsica, Paso Robles, Napa
Andrew did not disappoint with his selection! These wines were eye-opening and jaw-dropping. Particularly the reds which were best had on different days to truly enjoy them.
Champagne Palmer 2012
A soft dry wine with fresh apples and a crisp citrus mouthfeel. Nicely creamy and lively with excellent acidity this vintage cuvée is ready to be enjoyed…and was! $112
Corsica
Antoine-Marie Arena Vin de France Blanc “B.G.” 2015
100% Bianca Gentile
For an 8-year-old white wine, this wine was impressive! Fresh lively excellent fruit from a grape I have never had. The Bianco Gentile grape is an ancient Corsican variety, from organic 20+ year-old vineyards of clay and limestone. White flowers and orchard fruit on the nose, with rich flavor of honey a nice finish with a touch of saline. Fresh and vibrant $45

These wines are hard to come by and sell very quickly and for good reason. This was a beautiful deep red, soft and velvety smooth, full-bodied with some spice, vanilla, lovely soft tannins, and a refined finish of dark berry. $75
